My multi-disciplinary tutoring capacity ranges from reading and writing, ESL/ELL, grammar, and essay editing to algebra, French, history, psychology, government, environmental science, biology, journalism, public speaking, and study skills. I tutor students from elementary through high school and also help with TOEFL, PSAT, SAT, and GRE test prep. While at Austin Peay State University in the state of Tennessee, I earned a Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science, with honors, and am currently attending the University of Connecticut working towards my History of Science and Medicine PhD.I was born in Washington state and lived there until I was twelve. My experience includes working for an interdisciplinary journal as Editor-in-Chief. I've also been a presenter at conferences all over the United States and was published a few different times. Now living in Windham, Connecticut, I enjoy cooking meals based on global cuisines and going on road trips all over the country. I also love international travel, reading historical fiction, and making jewelry.
